The Montana State Cemetery at the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center campus is holding a memorial service Friday for a Vietnam veteran who recently died in the Helena area. The veteran, George Peterson, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and had no family, Montana VA officials said. The interment service begins at 3 p.m. at the VA cemetery building in the south end of the cemetery grounds, 3550 Heroes Road, Helena. Subscribe to our Daily Headlines newsletter.
